Holiday house Casa Tio Juan is situated in Tijarafe, a sunny area on the western side of the island La Palma.
In the beautifully renovated original part of the house you'll find the bedroom and the bathroom, in the newer part is the living room / kitchen.
Casa Tio Juan is in a quiet natural setting. The holiday home with modern comforts has a good view over the hillside and the Atlantic Ocean.

The house is suitable for 1 or 2 adults + baby.

Outside
		In front of the house is a covered terrace with table and chairs. Next to the house is a large terrace with table, chairs and sun beds. Both sunny terraces have sea view. At the back is a sheltered terrace. Casa Tio Juan has its own entrance and parking place.

Accommodation
Casa Tio Juan has a small hall, living room with open kitchen, 1 bedroom, a bathroom and a small seperate laundry room with washing machine.

The living room has 2 comfortable sofas, a dining table with chairs and there is SAT TV. In the kitchen you'll find a ceramic hob, extractor fan, large refrigerator with freezer comparment, coffee machine, water-boiler, toaster, deep frying pan, sandwich maker and wide assortment of cutlery.

The bedroom has 2 single beds with mattresses of good quality, bedside tables and a wardrobe.

In the bathroom you'll find a bath with shower, washbasin, wc and bidet.

Area
Tijarafe is about 70 minutes drive from the airport. The Tijarafe area is crisscrossed with marked walking-paths including a route to the viewpoint Torre del Time, where there is a breathtaking view over the west side of the island and the Valle de Aridane. In the village of Tijarafe is a bank, dispensing chemist, medical centre, internet cafe, supermarket, a few shops, restaurants and bars. There is a Kiosco with terrace where you can enjoy the view, local wine and tapas. The nearest sandy beaches are in Tazacorte (20 min. drive) and Puerto Naos (30 min. drive) where there are also shops, restaurants and small supermarkets. There are walking paths down the cliffs to small bays and the pirate cove for the more adventurous types. Los Llanos is the closest town with it's old streets and squares, shops and supermarkets, and the popular meeting place Plaza de España, and is about 30 minutes drive. Restaurants can be found on the main road running through Tijarafe and also in Tazacorte, Los Llanos to the south and Puntagorda to the north. On Saturdays and Sundays there is a farmers market in the Mercadillo in Puntagorda. In the summer the public swimming pool in Puntagorda is open.
